How good is your product or service if no one can find or use your website?
Hi, I'm Tina Ortiz and I am a Digital Marketing Specialist and photographer. While here at Full Sail University, depending on when you are reading this, I had the opportunity to learn about digital designs and usability.
Before the course I thought the digital design was the template used to create the website. I had no idea that it was about the factors built into the website. These factors help customers navigate the website, do their own research about a product or service, and the end goal is to purchase something.
With this in mind, usability testing was also something completely new to me. I assumed that once you created my website, I would just let it run and let customers figure it out. As you read my post on "Usability Testing," you will see that, that is often not the case.
I learned that I need to be more involved in clicking on every link and button I create on my website. It's not enough to just launch the site and just monitor sales & reviews. I need to continually monitor my website and those of my customers.
